Lemon Balm & Mint Herbal Iced Tea

This summer-inspired thirst-quenching tea is as delicious as it is refreshing and healthy. Lemon balm is known as a nerve tonic and gentle sedative, making it a wonderful afternoon pick-me-up and calming addition to this tea. The mint is refreshing and delicious, and the lemon adds a touch of summer glam.

Ahhhh…. This timeless summer herbal iced tea has so much to love….

  1. It’s caffeine-free
  2. Lemon balm is a mood-booster
  3. It can be totally sugar free with some fresh or dried stevia leaf
  4. Umm, did I we mention it tastes amazing?

Herbal Iced Tea

What you need:

  • 8 ounces of hot water
  • 2 teaspoons dried lemon balm
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint
  • 1 teaspoon honey OR add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried stevia herb to the lemon balm and mint.
  • wedge of lemon
  • ice cubes

How to Prepare:

Heat the water to just below boiling. Put lemon balm and mint in a compostable tea bag or tea ball and steep in water for 3-5 minutes. Remove the herb infusion, stir in honey and chill. Serve over ice and squeeze the lemon over the drink. Enjoy your naturally refreshing, caffeine free herbal iced tea!

Makes 1 serving. Simply multiply the ingredients times 4 to make a quart to share.
